Sustainable Development Goals
COLLABORATION WITH ALS FOUNDATION
The mission of the ALS Foundation is to discover treatments and ultimately a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). At the RUBI Group, we’re proud to support this cause. Through our subsidiary, RUBI Benelux, and with the involvement of the entire RUBI Team, we contribute annually through donations and participation in fundraising events — including cycling races like the Tour du ALS. The RUBI Group remains committed to the fight against ALS!
GRANT FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING STUDENTS
At the RUBI Group, we’re committed to supporting the next generation of professionals and advancing the ceramic tile-laying trade. That’s why we’ve partnered with seven Spanish vocational training centres focused on construction. This partnership includes a substantial donation of RUBI tools and machines, along with ongoing maintenance and renewal of equipment over time. In addition, students and teachers receive support through dedicated masterclasses delivered by the RUBI Academy. We also offer the RUBI Scholarship to 15–20 students who are firmly committed to a future in construction. The scholarship includes a one-week, hands-on training program at our RUBI Academy in Santa Oliva (Tarragona), combining both theoretical and practical learning. As part of the program, students also receive the Young Professional Tile Fixer’s PROALSO Card. Our goal is to expand this initiative internationally and continue supporting the professional growth of future tile-laying experts around the world.

For the second year in a row, RUBI Portugal has received the TOP 5% Best SMEs in the Country certification — a distinction awarded by Scoring, a consultancy firm that recognises companies for outstanding performance and financial strength. In addition, our main factory in Santa Oliva (Tarragona) has been recognised as one of the top-rated workplaces in terms of employee satisfaction, based on feedback from workers provided by our partner, the Temporary Employment Agency Triangle Solutions RRHH. We’re proud of these achievements — and we're committed to keeping up the great work!
ANNUALLY DONATION TO VICENTE FERRER FOUNDATION
Since 2012, the RUBI Group has proudly partnered with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, an NGO dedicated to lifting people out of poverty through sustainable development in Anantapur, India. Our support is channelled through Club RUBI points redemption campaigns and an annual donation that directly funds the construction of homes for women and their vulnerable families. Over the years, RUBI’s contributions have also helped establish a school, providing better education opportunities for children in the region. It’s RUBI’s slogan in action: Building the future together!
